Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 May 2026
By using Shuchii (shuchiind.com or any of its apps), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Shuchii
Shuchii is a marketplace platform operated by Shuchii Ind that connects laundry customers with local laundry vendors and delivery riders. Shuchii facilitates orders, payments, and logistics — but the actual laundry service is performed by independent vendor partners.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Shuchii. By registering, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding contract.
3. Account responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- You must provide accurate information during signup.
- One person may not maintain multiple customer accounts.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
4. Orders and payments
- Prices shown are set by individual vendors and may change without notice.
- Currently, payment is accepted as cash on delivery. Online payment integration is in development.
- Once a vendor accepts your order, it cannot be cancelled by you without contacting customer support.
- A minimum order value of ₹100 applies.
- Quick service has a flat service charge of ₹30 (waived for orders above ₹300).
- Cashback earned via promo codes is credited to your wallet and may expire as per individual promo terms.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times shown are estimates. While we strive to meet them, delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or vendor capacity.
- You must be available at the registered pickup and delivery address during scheduled slots.
- OTP verification is required at pickup and delivery for your security.
6. Items and damages
- You agree not to send items that are illegal, hazardous, or perishable.
- Declare any delicate or high-value items at the time of pickup.
- Shuchii acts as a marketplace — direct disputes regarding garment damage are between you and the vendor, but we will facilitate resolution.
- Maximum liability for damaged items is the lower of: (a) the original purchase value of the item, or (b) ten times (10×) the service charge paid for that item.
7. Vendor partners
Vendors who list on Shuchii are independent businesses. They set their own prices, services, and turnaround times. By placing an order with a vendor, you enter into a service agreement with that vendor; Shuchii facilitates this relationship.
8. Rider partners
Delivery riders are independent contractors. They are not employees of Shuchii.
9. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Shuchii for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, threaten, or abuse vendors, riders, or other users
- Submit fake orders or fraudulent payment information
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with our platform
- Use Shuchii to compete with us
10. Beta service notice
Shuchii is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable. We recommend keeping records of important orders. We are not liable for service interruptions during this beta period.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraud, or other reasons at our sole discretion. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shuchii's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Odisha, India.
