By using Shuchii, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. What information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Account information: Name, phone number, email address, password, date of birth, and birthplace (used for password recovery).
• Vendor information: Shop name, address, area, pincode, shop phone, service catalog, prices, and GPS coordinates.
• Rider information: Name, vehicle type, service area, date of birth.
• Order information: Pickup addresses, items, prices, payment method, special instructions.
• Communications: Messages you send us via email, chat, or in-app feedback.

Information collected automatically

• Location data: When you grant permission, we collect your GPS location to find nearby shops, route riders, and verify pickup/delivery locations.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address.
• Usage information: Pages visited, actions taken, timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: Session tokens, authentication cookies.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account
• To process and fulfil your laundry orders
• To connect customers with vendors and riders

• To send order updates, OTPs, and service notifications

3. Who we share your information with

We share limited information with the parties needed to fulfil your order:

• Vendors: Receive your name, phone number, items ordered, and delivery time slot when you place an order with them.
• Riders: Receive your name, phone number, and pickup/delivery addresses for trips assigned to them.
• Service providers: Cloud hosting providers (Cloudflare, Render), payment processors, push notification services (Firebase).
• Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect Shuchii's legal rights.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. How long we keep your information

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after for legal, accounting, or operational reasons. Order data is typically retained for 7 years (per Indian tax law requirements).

5. Your rights under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase: Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you've previously given.
• Grievance redressal: File a complaint about how we handle your data.

6. Security

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Shuchii after changes constitutes acceptance.
